Pastor Holland Profile

Reverend Anthony Duane Holland was born in Flint, Michigan.   He is the eldest son of the late Elder Robinson Rigsby Lathan and Donna Carrol Holland.

Reverend Holland accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1978 and rededicated his life to Christ in 1985.   He received his call into the ministry in 1987, under the tutelage of the late Reverend Doctor Oswald G. Smith, of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Arlington, Virginia.   Reverend Holland was licensed in 1987 and ordained in 1989.

In 1988, Reverend Holland founded the Jail and Prison   Ministry, and served as President until 1992.   Reverend Holland taught various classes, including Bible Study, Baptist Training Union and Sunday School.

In 1992, Reverend Holland was called to assist the late Reverend Doctor Leroy O. Payton, Pastor of Chantilly Baptist Church in Chantilly, Virginia.   In 1995, Reverend Holland was called to Pastor Beacon Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and did so until 1996.   He then returned to Chantilly Baptist Church where he served until he was called to his second Church, Emanuel Baptist Church in 1997.

In late 1999, Reverend Holland and his family moved to Muskegon, Michigan where he assisted the Pastor at Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Daniel Dixon.   When the church Pastoralship became vacant, Reverend Holland was voted to be the new Overseer of the church.

Shortly after returning to Northern Virginia in 2003, Reverend Holland and his family joined Peace Baptist Church and served under the leadership of the late esteemed Pastor, Doctor James E. Jefferies.

Reverend Holland has twenty-two years of solid air conditioning and heating training and experience.   He is currently the owner of Air Distribution Plumbing, Heating and Air.

Reverend Holland is married to the former Linda Hardwick and is the father of two children, Andrew Rigsby and Andrea Renee.
